There are many challenges that you could take on, from an overseas adventure, to running or skydiving and much more. Knowing that, by conquering your own nemesis, you are helping children facing their own sad and difficult challenge will give you that extra push and sense of achievement. Not up for the adrenaline fix? If you prefer getting together with family and friends in a more relaxed way then perhaps you could host a bake sale, car wash, coffee morning or garage sale.
